英語・ヨガ(in english)

I have a TESOL certification and a broad range of English teaching experience.

Children’s group and private lessons:
little kids with their mums, elementary and junior high school students.

Adult group and private lessons:
IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC test preparation, in office English lessons for busy workers and general English conversation lessons.

In every situation my goal is the same; create a relaxed fun environment where the students develop confidence, forget about their shyness and begin to want to speak.

I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. I've been living in Japan since 2008 and I live in Kokubunji. In 2011 I graduated from Japanese language school in Tokyo. I enjoy outdoor activities such as riding, hiking and snowboarding. I also enjoy cooking and vegetable gardening.

Here's a quote that I like:
“Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today”

Pierre-Juan(ピエール ホアン)

こんにちは / Hello / Bonjour / Buenas Dias everyone !

My name is Pierre-Juan, I was born in Spain and I moved to France by the age of 10. I grew up in between those two cultures and had to speak both French and Spanish with my parents. I have also lived in the U.K. for about 2.5 years during my university years and I’m a Berlitz Certified English instructor since 2007 in Japan.
I enjoy teaching foreign languages in Japan as I’m also still keen to improve my Japanese level.
I teach all kinds of topics and levels (from very beginner to very advanced), as you can also rely on my Japanese whenever needed, なのでもし良く理解が出来なかったら日本語でも教えることが出来ます!
Je vous attends avec grand plaisir à l’Ecole Beyond International de Tachikawa, espero veros muy pronto por la escuela, vos esperamos !

Here’s one of my favorite Chinese proverb :
“When the sage points at the moon, the fool looks at his finger.”

Hey, what's up? My name's Johnny and  was born and raised in Queens, New York City. I came to Japanese to English and improve my Japanese. I've always loved language and I grew up bilingual speaking both Greek and English at home. I'm so happy to be able to teach in Tokyo because it's such a great place and I love to help others. I really enjoy my job and my students are all fantastic and range from 9 years 90!

Even though I'm a city boy, I really enjoy the countryside and enjoy quiet places and exploring nature. In my free time I love to play videos games, watch films, read books and comics and attend live concerts! I also really love to ride my bicycle.
Hopefully we'll get to meet in Beyond!

MABUHAY!  It is like Welcome in Tagalog, our Filipino language.

Yours truly came from the one of the 7,100 islands of the Philippines, the country with smiling faces.  My background was Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition, so you may ask me questions on nutritional dieting.

At an early age, I was able to work with different departments of mostly 5 star hotels, which lead me to travel around the world.  At the same time, had been married to a Japanese  hotelier,  and we were posted in Dubai, Kuwait, Bangkok, Ho Chi Mhin, Hanoi, Mandalay, Manila and Tokyo.  These brought a very rich experience of different cultures and beautiful memories.

I hope to be able to share these treasures to all my students and co-workers.

Nihongo is still a challenge for me, that I keep learning in my daily life in Japan.

Let us celebrate life through learning English and life itself.  If there is a will there is always a way…and way to go.
